WoW Midnight Mounts: Every Season 1 Reward and How to Get It
How Many New Mounts Did Midnight Add?
WoW Midnight Season 1 shipped with 54 new mounts spread across every endgame system — raids, Mythic+, Arena, Delves, Prey System, Renown, Reputation, world events, fishing, and the Pre-Patch event. This guide lists all 54 with verified Wowhead icons, item IDs, and exact source requirements, grouped by how you earn them.
Which Mounts Drop From Midnight Raids?
The raid-progression prestige mounts — both drop from the three Midnight raids.
Which Mounts Come From Mythic+ and Dungeons?
Dungeon-specific rares plus the two ratings-based Season 1 reward mounts (Keystone Master / Keystone Legend).
Which Mounts Come From Midnight Delves?
Four mounts tied to Midnight's Delve system — one from solo Nullaeus, two from the Undercoin vendors at Delver's Journey ranks, and the Glory achievement mount.
Which Mounts Come From the Prey System?
Three voidwyrm-like Preyseeker mounts from the Midnight Prey System hunt cycles. The Nightmare Mode III achievement mount is the collector flex of Season 1 Delves.
Which Mounts Come From Midnight Arena and PvP?
The Gladiator mount (top 0.1% rated Arena), plus the faction-specific Vicious mounts for players who finish a Rated season at Duelist or above.
Which Mounts Were From the Midnight Pre-Patch Event?
Two mounts from the Two Minutes to Midnight pre-patch event. These remain on collector accounts but the event itself is closed — these mounts no longer obtainable.
Which Mounts Come From Midnight Faction Renown?
Four Midnight factions each offer multi-tier mount rewards, unlocked at Renown 17 and Renown 19 respectively. Voidlight Marl is the universal currency — earned from weekly faction quests, world objectives, and Renown caches.
Reputation (Slayer's Duellum) Mounts
The Slayer's Duellum faction (PvP world objective / arena-adjacent content) rewards four mounts — two from Exalted vendor, one drop from the Slayer's Duellum Trove, and one achievement.
Exploration Mounts — The Big Category
Exploration is the largest bucket. Zone rare drops, treasure/cache drops, achievement mounts from exploration metas, and vendor mounts tied to Glowing Moth capture counts.
Zone Rare Mob Drops
Seven mounts drop from specific rare mobs across the four new zones. Rare-timer groups and Route hunter addon track these.
Cache & Treasure Drops
Six mounts drop from specific chests/caches/containers across Midnight zones. Usually tied to rare spawn defeats or specific world quests.
Achievement Reward Mounts
Four exploration-meta achievement rewards. The Ivory Grimlynx (Allied Race: Haranir) is the one everyone unlocks automatically once they finish the Haranir recruitment chain.
Glowing Moth Vendor Mounts
Two scaling-cost vendor mounts from Mothkeeper Wew'tam — priced in Luminous Dust but gated behind Glowing Moth capture counts (50 and 120 respectively). Ongoing project for completionists.
Which Midnight Mounts Come From Professions?
One profession-specific mount in Midnight so far — a fishing mount with a low catch rate from the Voidstorm zone waters.
Which Midnight Mounts Come From World Events?
Two mounts from the recurring Abundance world event. Event runs on a bi-monthly cadence; mounts purchasable at the event vendor using the event-exclusive currency.

Completion Checklist for Collectors
A suggested priority order for players chasing the full Midnight mount set:
- Easy wins first — Allied Race: Haranir (Ivory Grimlynx unlocks from the introduction questline) and the pre-patch event mounts if you still have access.
- Renown grind — set a weekly routine: Silvermoon Court and Amani Tribe weekly quests + World Objectives fill Renown fastest.
- Rare mob farm — join Midnight rare-spawn communities (most servers have dedicated Discord channels). Zone rare drops are the highest time-to-reward ratio.
- Mythic+ push — Keystone Master is achievable by most players willing to commit to one good group. Keystone Legend requires push-team quality.
- Delve completion — Glory of the Midnight Delver and Nullaeus solo (Let Me Solo Him) are both achievable solo with gear progression.
- Raid progression — Ashes of Belo'ren is Mythic-gated, but Glory of the Midnight Raider is approachable Heroic-and-below.
- Arena / PvP — Vicious Snaplizard is the entry ratings reward. Galactic Gladiator is 0.1% territory.
