World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard's third World of Warcraft experience alongside Modern WoW and WoW Classic. Players often call it "Classic Plus"; Blizzard's name for it is World of Warcraft: Forever. It launches on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST and is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. It reimagines Vanilla-era Azeroth with three new zones, more than 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons, two new raids and the Skyborne race. Skyborne and the Zephras Isle starting experience are the exception: they need the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition, not the subscription alone.
When Can You Buy a WoW Forever Account?
After launch on November 4, 2026. Forever characters, gear and progression do not exist before that date, so there is nothing to list yet. Until then AccountShark takes requests: tell us the region, ruleset, faction, race, class and Skyborne access you want, and we match them against real accounts once launch inventory exists. A request records what you are looking for. It does not reserve a name, a class, an item or a level.
Does an Existing Classic Character Give You a Head Start?
No. Forever is a separate World of Warcraft experience with its own characters, rulesets and progression, and Blizzard has not announced any transfer of Classic or Classic Era characters into it. An account advertised as already levelled or geared for Forever before November 4 is not describing Forever progress.
Forever Uses Rulesets, Not Realms
Instead of picking from a long list of realms, you pick a ruleset, and each one is its own large ecosystem for grouping, dungeons, raids and community:
- Normal
- PvP
- Roleplaying
- Hardcore (joining after launch)
If you are searching for a WoW Forever server, realm or ruleset, these are the same thing: a Forever listing states a ruleset, because that is what the game has. Collections and Legacy Points are account-wide across rulesets, with one exception: progress earned in Hardcore can carry outward to other rulesets, but progress from other rulesets does not flow back into Hardcore.
What Is the Legacy System?
Legacy Points are Battle.net account-wide and shared by all of your non-Hardcore characters. Each character spends those shared points on its own advantages across three areas — Professions, Adventure and Resourcefulness. Because the points belong to the account rather than to one character, Legacy progress carries across every eligible character on it, which is why listings state it separately from any single character's level and gear.
What Makes a WoW Forever Account Valuable?
A Forever account is progress on a World of Warcraft game account, not a separate login, so it is listed with that account's full history:
- Region, Ruleset & Faction
- Race & Class (Skyborne Requires the Heroic Pack)
- Character Level, Gear & Build
- Legacy Points & Legacy Progress
- Professions, Recipes & Tradeskills
- Gold
- Reputations & Quest Progress
- Dungeon & Raid Progress
- PvP Progress & Rewards
- Mounts, Pets & Collectibles
- Skyborne Pack & Edition Entitlements
Raids open on December 9, 2026, five weeks after launch, so no account can carry Forever raid progress before that date.
What Does the Skyborne Heroic Pack Include?
Skyborne is not part of the base subscription. The Skyborne Heroic Pack and higher editions grant:
- Skyborne race access
- The Zephras Isle starting experience
- Early Name Reservation
- Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount
- Cosmetics and housing decor
- One Invite-A-Friend launch code
An account's edition therefore changes what a buyer actually receives, so listings state it.
Is WoW Forever the Same as Classic Plus?
"Classic Plus" is the name players used for years for a Vanilla-style WoW with new content added to it. Blizzard's name for the game it actually shipped is World of Warcraft: Forever, and the two refer to the same thing in conversation. Forever is its own experience with new zones, quests, dungeons, raids, rulesets and account-wide Legacy progression — not a patch applied to WoW Classic, and not a place your existing Classic characters move to.
Is WoW Forever Included With a Subscription?
Yes. From launch on November 4, 2026, World of Warcraft: Forever is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, the same as Modern WoW and WoW Classic. You do not buy the game separately. Two things are not covered by the subscription: the Skyborne race with its Zephras Isle starting experience, which needs the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher, and beta access, which needed the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection.
Can You Buy WoW Forever Beta Access?
No. The beta runs from September 17 to October 21, 2026, and Blizzard's terms say beta access codes may not be resold and have no cash value. Beta characters do not carry into launch. AccountShark does not list beta codes or beta characters, and beta participation is not launch progress.
