Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 5 is Treasure Hunters, a one-month pirate mini-season built around a new 80-player Island, One Piece powers, buried Sprite Chests and a lineup of captains who change the map as November goes on. Crossbones Isle is live now, Luffy and A$AP Rocky lead the first wave, and Epic has already dated the next four Captain's Days.
This guide covers the new map, every launch weapon, the Battle Pass, Pirate Shop Access, One Piece skins, Sprites, weekly updates and the changes to Ranked, Reload and the normal loot pool. Is Treasure Hunters Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 5?
Yes for search and conversation, but not in Epic's official naming. Epic calls Treasure Hunters a mini-season that begins November 1 and leads into the Chapter 7 end event on December 5.
Calling it Chapter 7 Season 5 is useful because it clearly separates this roster, Battle Pass and map from Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Just do not confuse it with the start of a full new chapter. Crossbones Isle is a short, weekly changing season designed to reach a finale quickly.

Crossbones Isle map and every named POI
Crossbones Isle replaces the Season 4 map for Battle Royale. Matches have 80 players, and cannons around the Island double as transport: climb in, aim and fire yourself toward the next POI.
The launch map has eleven named locations:
| POI | What to expect |
|---|---|
| The $.$. Rocky | A$AP Rocky's battleship, boss fight and Shock Rocket |
| Lantern Lanes | A dense maze of streets with short sightlines and several exits |
| Baratie Bay | The One Piece floating restaurant and its waterfront |
| Windmill Village | A quieter seaside One Piece village with open approaches |
| Loguetown | A large harbor town made for building-to-building fights |
| Arlong Park | The fish-man stronghold from One Piece |
| Crew's Cove | A hidden waterfall cove with a ship beside it |
| Plunder Port | Two docked ships and plenty of loot routes |
| Fort Fortuna | A fortified high-ground POI with walls and ramparts |
| Rubber Resort | A resort with a duck-shaped yacht; Miku and Teto arrive here later |
| Captain's Cenote | A mountain sinkhole pool with strong vertical positioning |
The best landing spot depends on the match you want. The $.$. Rocky is the obvious hot drop because of the boss. Fort Fortuna gives you defensible height. Plunder Port and Crew's Cove work better when you want ships, chests and an exit route without committing to the busiest fight on the map.
How to find buried Sprite Chests
Treasure Hunters makes opening chests part of progression rather than something you finish in the first two minutes.
- Search walls for a Wanted Poster.
- Tear it down to turn it into a Sprite Treasure Map.
- Follow the map to the marked dig site.
- Break the ground with your pickaxe.
- Open the buried Sprite Chest and take the Sprite inside.
Captain's Days also add a Map Fragment. Epic has not said what the completed map unlocks, only that a new fragment appears each week and that the pieces belong together. Keep the weekly fragments separate from normal Sprite Treasure Maps.
Pirate Shop Access: the rare free Item Shop reward
Pirate Shop Access is the season's true jackpot. It is a very rare chest reward that lets the winner activate a 14-day period during which eligible Item Shop offers priced in V-Bucks can be claimed for free.
Launch-day reports from VICE and Destructoid agree on the core rules:
- The access token is a rare Battle Royale chest reward with no published drop rate.
- Activation starts a 14-day clock, so do not activate until the Shop rotation is worth it to you.
- Eligible V-Bucks cosmetics can be claimed and remain in your Locker.
- Real-money packs are excluded.
- Gifting, Battle Pass purchases and Battle Pass levels are excluded.
- The reward includes separate activation windows for 2026 and 2027.
Every new Treasure Hunters weapon and item
| Weapon or item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Gum-Gum Fruit | Transforms you into Luffy for stretched punches, foot slams and a charged movement attack |
| Flame-Flame Fruit | Transforms you into Ace for rapid fire attacks and a heavy Fire Fist finisher |
| Zoro's Three Sword Style | Close-range slashes and a forward dash |
| A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket | Shock Rock charges launch you into the air before you fire rockets below; non-Competitive only |
| Usopp's Slingshot | A marksman weapon that uses heavy rounds |
| Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle | Fast full-auto rifle designed for medium range |
| Gilded Dragoon Shotgun | Single-shot shotgun that trades magazine size for high damage |
| Explosive Cannon Ball | Thrown explosive that can also be loaded into a cannon; non-Competitive only |
| Nami's Tangerine | Restores health and shields and boosts movement through water |
| Meat on a Stick | Heals immediately and continues healing for a short time |
The Gum-Gum and Flame-Flame Fruits are transformations, not normal rifles you carry and forget. Commit inventory space only if you plan to use the full kit. Zoro's dash is better for players comfortable fighting at close range, while the Slingshot and Bundlebuss fit a normal gun loadout more easily.
How to defeat A$AP Rocky
A$AP Rocky is the first Island boss. He is on the deck of The $.$. Rocky, the battleship POI bearing his name.
Clear nearby players before starting the boss fight. The ship has enough height changes and cover for another squad to wait until you spend your healing, then take both the boss drop and your loot. The safest sequence is:
- Land on an outer section of the ship instead of the center deck.
- Find a shotgun, medium-range weapon and shields.
- Eliminate or drive off the nearest squad.
- Keep hard cover between you and Rocky while his attacks are active.
- Finish the fight, take the Shock Rocket or Lil' Flacko Sprite drop and leave before the next team reaches the deck.
Treasure Hunters Battle Pass skins
Epic's announcement directly names Portgas D. Ace, Nico Robin and new anime looks for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. The live pass lineup also includes Captain X, the masked character tied to the season's mega chest.
- Portgas D. Ace
- Nico Robin
- Jonesy anime remix
- Cuddle Team Leader anime remix
- Charlotte anime remix
- Captain X
One Piece, A$AP Rocky and every dated Shop release
Treasure Hunters spreads its collaborations across November instead of dropping everything on launch day.
| Date | Shop release |
|---|---|
| November 1 | Monkey D. Luffy, Nami and Usopp |
| November 5, 7 PM ET | A$AP Rocky |
| November 7 | Roronoa Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick |
| November 12 | Lil Uzi Vert |
| November 13 | Buggy |
| November 14 | Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku |
Shop dates tell you when a set first arrives; they do not guarantee how long it remains. If you want a specific outfit, check the countdown on its Shop tile.

All Chapter 7 Season 5 Sprites
Treasure Hunters launched with twelve obtainable Sprite families and a thirteenth, Lil' Uzi Vert Jr., already visible in the files. Fortune variants are live, Cursed variants are listed but not obtainable at launch, and Gold returns November 12.
The new families are:
- Halfpeel'd
- Re-Pete
- Barry O'Fish
- Wayfinder
- Chester
- Exmarks
- Kelper
- Lil' Squibbly
- Lil' Flacko
- Lil' Uzi Vert Jr.
- Transponder Snail
- Sweet Dreams
- Plundarrgh
The three launch finishes work like this:
- Base: the normal Sprite and its passive ability.
- Fortune: keeps the normal ability and reveals nearby chests.
- Cursed: listed in the files but not live at launch; it raises the chance of rare Sprite variants, but water damages you while equipped.
Captain's Days and weekly map updates
Captain's Days are the structure of the mini-season. Each one adds a captain, a crew, weapons, Sprites or a POI change.
November 7: Lil Uzi Vert, Cuddle Team Leader and Buggy
Lil Uzi Vert and Cuddle Team Leader claim a fort. Buggy and Megalodon arrive looking for trouble, with new weapons and Sprites promised for the same update.
November 14: Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto
Miku and Teto take over the resort. Epic says returning weapons arrive with them, plus a leek you can wield.
November 21: Oscar
Oscar arrives on his own ship with the Frenzy Auto Shotgun. This is also the final dated Captain's Day before the December event.
The weekly Map Fragments are the part to watch. Epic is deliberately withholding the completed reward, and the season's central mystery is what the full map opens.
Sprite Mastery and Ranked rewards
Sprite Mastery returns under the Treasure tab. A new page unlocks each week, with Lucky Locators, Golden Fireworks and other Gizmos on the track.
The Sprite Mastery Strongbox Back Bling upgrades as you progress. Mastering 40 Sprites unlocks the Navigator's Nosedive Umbrella.
Treasure Hunters also begins a new Ranked season:
- Gold: AHOY! Emoticon
- Platinum: By Order of Geno Loading Screen
- Diamond: This Must Be the Spot Spray
- Elite: Par-Rot Back Bling
- Unreal: Double-Duty Duelist Pickaxe
Unvaulted weapons and economy changes
The standard Battle Royale pool brings back:
- Sentinel Pump Shotgun
- Auto Shotgun
- Flint-Knock Pistol
- Sidearm Pistol
- Machine SMG
- Tactical SMG
- Hammer Assault Rifle
- Zipline Deployer
- Overdrive Grenade
- Slurp Juice
- Shield Fish
- Jellyfish
- Slurpfish
- Hop Flopper
- Spicy Fish
Gold Bars are vaulted. Follower services are free, Vending Machines are gone, and Pocket-O-Matics remain in Zero Build. The available Pocket Items are the Shockwave Grenade, Port-A-Bunker and Shield Bubble Jr.
Golden Apples now give 40 effective health instead of 50 raw health. Healing beyond your health cap spills into shields, their low-gravity effect lasts slightly longer, and they appear in Produce Boxes more often.
Reload and Blitz Royale changes
Reload receives the One Piece weapons too. Surf City returns to the rotation beside Nitemare Island and Squid Grounds. On November 12, Nitemare Island leaves and Springfield returns.
The Reload loot pool adds Zoro's Three Sword Style, Usopp's Slingshot, the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle, Gilded Dragoon Shotgun, Explosive Cannon Ball and Nami's Tangerine. Gold Bars are vaulted there as well, making Vending Machine and Pocket-O-Matic items free.
Blitz Royale also receives a v43.00 Treasure Hunters update. Because Blitz changes its pool and modifiers more aggressively than Battle Royale, use the mode's in-game details screen before planning around a specific mythic or transformation.
One Piece cups and free outfit chances
Two competitive cups can award Item Shop outfits before or around their Shop releases:
- One Piece: Zoro Cup — November 6
- One Piece: Buggy Cup — November 13
Best Treasure Hunters strategy for your first matches
- Do not force The $.$. Rocky every game. The boss drop is strong, but the ship is the most predictable third-party target on launch day.
- Use Wanted Posters early. A buried Sprite Chest gives you a passive ability before the late-game rotations begin.
- Treat cannons as mobility. They are not just weapons; a cannon can move your whole match from a weak edge route to the next safe POI.
- Choose one power item, not three. A Fruit or Three Sword Style needs inventory space and attention. Keep enough normal weapons and healing to survive when its ability is unavailable.
- Open chests even after your loadout is complete. Sprites, Pirate Shop Access and Treasure Hunters rewards make every chest relevant.
- Delay Pirate Shop activation. If you win access, start the 14-day timer when the Shop has items you actually want.
- Play Mondays for Sprite progress. Double XP and Dust makes Mastery Monday the fastest day to work on the 40-Sprite umbrella.
