Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Launch Guide (Oct 9): Path to Doomsday Infinity War, Infinity Finale, Balance Changes
QUICK ANSWER · Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 · LIVE Oct 9
• Live now: Season 10.5 (Version 20261009) started Friday, October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC (4:00 AM CT) with about 2 hours of maintenance. Console builds show as 1.76 | 1.000.011.
• New mode: Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War. 12 players, 6 duo squads, two squads fight each round, first squad to collect all 6 Infinity Stones wins. Runs to Dec 11, 3:00 AM CT.
• Free stuff: Infinity Finale event (free Thor The Avengers costume, to Dec 10), the Infinity Gauntlet accessory via mission objectives (not sold in the store), and Angela Twitch Drops from 7:00 AM CT today to Nov 5.
• Balance: 13 heroes changed. Nerfs: Devil Dinosaur, Gorr, Scarlet Witch. Big rewrites: Iron Man (homing missiles, 20 to 10 damage), Phoenix (more damage, self-heal replaced by Bonus Health), Jubilee (sprint healing, 0.8s blind).
• Also in: Alchemax Headquarters added to 18 VS 18, water traversal emotes usable outside water, Winter Soldier latency polish, Gorr Shadow Harvest targeting sensitivity setting, Jeff the Land Shark Gold rank costume.

Season 10.5 is live. NetEase flipped Marvel Rivals to Version 20261009 on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC, which is 4:00 AM Central, with an estimated two hours of maintenance. This is the mid-season drop, and it is built around something different from a new hero. There is no hero this time. Instead you get an Avengers: Infinity War mode, a new season event with a free Thor costume, a free Infinity Gauntlet accessory, Twitch Drops, and a balance pass that touches 13 heroes, including a full missile rework for Iron Man.

This guide walks through all of it. The structure comes straight from NetEase's own posts: the Version 20261009 patch notes and the separate Version 20261009 balance post. Console details and the "road to Season 11" framing come from MP1st's write-up, and the mode mechanics beyond the patch notes come from a recap of the Dev Vision Vol. 22 developer video on MarvelRivals.gg. Anything that is not in NetEase's patch notes or balance post is labeled as secondary reporting or as my own read. Every UTC time is converted to Central, because the clock jump around November 1 matters for a few deadlines.

What Shipped in Season 10.5

Here is the full ledger of what the official patch notes list, in the order that matters to most players.

  • Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War: a brand new mode, live now through December 11.
  • New Stories: new Thor lore called Spirit of Thunder and new Spider-Man lore called The Worthy Spider-Man.
  • New In Store: Devil Dinosaur Skele-Saurus Bundle, Blade Vampire King Bundle, Cyclops Phoenix Cyclops Bundle, and the Infinity Gauntlet Accessory.
  • Water Traversal Emote Optimization: Summer Special water emotes now work outside water as stationary emotes, with some area restrictions because of clipping.
  • Season Event: Infinity Finale: quests that reward Thor's The Avengers costume for free, plus more Infinity War inspired costumes and bundle content for Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and others.
  • Times Square: Relive Avengers: Infinity War: a screening and a photo op, each with a reward.
  • Alchemax Headquarters: added to the 18 VS 18 mode.
  • Twitch Drops: a new round headlined by the Angela costume, Will of Galacta.
  • Rank Rewards: the Season 10.5 Gold-tier costume is Jeff the Land Shark, Razor-Tooth.
  • Hero fixes: Winter Soldier latency polish and a new Gorr targeting sensitivity setting.
  • Other: a Hero Profile label fix where the Emoji resource type was wrongly labeled Costume.
  • Balance post: 13 heroes adjusted, covered hero by hero below.

Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War

NetEase's own description is short. The Sorcerer Supreme peers into possible futures with the Time Stone and keeps finding a desperate struggle for the Infinity Stones. In the new mode, 12 players form 6 duo squads and battle for control over the Infinity Stones. Each round, two squads face off head-to-head. The first squad to collect all 6 Infinity Stones claims the ultimate victory. The mode runs from October 9 at 09:00 UTC to December 11 at 09:00 UTC, which is Friday, December 11 at 3:00 AM Central.

That is the whole official text. The Dev Vision Vol. 22 recap on MarvelRivals.gg fills in more of how the mode plays. Everything in this section from here down is from that secondary recap, so treat it as the developers' preview, not as patch-note text.

  • It is described as a 2v2 PvP mode where 12 players make six teams of two from a pool of 13 heroes.
  • Teams play a round-robin series of 2v2 deathmatches on a Wakanda battlefield.
  • Losing a round costs your team health. Once a team's health is gone, that team is eliminated.
  • Between rounds you pick cards from a random pool that upgrade abilities and stats. The recap says the cards let you build different loadouts and also counter opponents.
  • Each team gets a randomly assigned Infinity Stone at the start. Every stone grants a powerful ability, and eliminating another team lets you claim its stone.
Put the official line and the preview together and the shape of the game becomes clear. Six squads means six stones, and every squad starts holding exactly one. To win you have to be the squad that ends up holding all six, which means you cannot just survive. You have to knock out every other duo, one round at a time.

How I would approach a duo mode like this

This part is my own read, not official guidance. Keep it as a starting plan, not gospel.

  • Pick a partner you can talk to. A duo mode with round-by-round card picks rewards two people who agree on a build plan before the first card appears.
  • Treat health like the real currency. Because losing a round costs team health and health decides elimination, a loss that barely costs you anything is worth more than a risky win that leaves you exposed next round.
  • Read the card pool as a counter tool. The recap says cards can answer your opponent, so pay attention to who you are about to face rather than defaulting to the same pick every round.
  • Remember your stone is also your target. Your starting stone is something other squads want. Carrying a strong one is an advantage and a bounty at the same time.

The free Infinity Gauntlet accessory

MP1st quotes a note from NetEase: the Infinity Gauntlet accessory will not be sold in the store. You earn it for free by achieving mission objectives in the Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War event, and you can also earn assorted rewards such as Unstable Molecules and Units along the way. The official patch notes list the Infinity Gauntlet Accessory under "New In Store" with availability from October 9 at 09:00 UTC, while the MP1st note explains it is a mission reward. I read that as the accessory appearing in the store listing area as a claimable item rather than a paid one, but if the listing in your client looks different, trust the in-game text.

Infinity Finale: Free Thor and More

The Infinity Finale season event runs from October 9 at 09:00 UTC to December 10 at 09:00 UTC. In Central that is Friday, October 9 at 4:00 AM through Thursday, December 10 at 3:00 AM. NetEase's pitch is simple: complete quests and earn Thor's The Avengers costume for free. Other rewards include Avengers: Infinity War inspired costumes and matching bundle content for Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and more.

Two things stand out. First, the window is long, a little over two months, so there is no reason to burn out on day one. Second, the event ends one day before the Infinity War mode does. If you want the free Thor costume and also plan to grind the mode for the Gauntlet, finish the event quests first. The mode's final day is the one you will be tempted to leave everything for, and the event closes before it.

Times Square: Relive Avengers: Infinity War

The social hub gets a limited-time activity set that runs from October 9 at 09:00 UTC to October 22 at 09:00 UTC (Thursday, October 22 at 4:00 AM Central). There are two pieces.

  • Avengers: Infinity War Highlights Screening: head to the viewing area in Times Square and watch iconic clips from the film. Watch the screening continuously for two minutes to unlock the exclusive Gallery Card - Avengers: Infinity War.
  • Iconic Scenes Photo Ops: visit the photo walls outside the Avengers' Gift Shop and take a group photo with the NPCs there. You instantly earn the exclusive Spray - Avengers Emblem and 100 Units.
Both are quick, both are free, and both disappear on October 22. This is the sort of thing that takes five minutes today and is a regret in three weeks. Do it before you queue.

Store, Twitch Drops, and Rank Rewards

New in the store

The two limited-time bundles are the Devil Dinosaur - Skele-Saurus Bundle and the Blade - Vampire King Bundle, available from October 9 at 09:00 UTC to November 6 at 02:00 UTC, which is Thursday, November 5 at 8:00 PM Central. The Cyclops - Phoenix Cyclops Bundle and the Infinity Gauntlet Accessory are listed as available from October 9 at 09:00 UTC with no end date given in the patch notes.

Twitch Drops

The new Twitch Drops round runs from October 9 at 12:00 UTC (7:00 AM Central today) to November 6 at 09:00 UTC (3:00 AM Central, Friday, November 6). The headline reward is the Angela - Will of Galacta costume with related bundle content. NetEase does not list the exact watch time requirements in the patch notes, so check the drops page when you link your account.

Rank rewards

The Season 10.5 Gold-tier costume reward is Jeff the Land Shark - Razor-Tooth. Reach Gold in ranked this season to claim it. LFCarry's Season 11 explainer notes that this costume belongs to the Season 10.5 ranked cycle, so it stops being obtainable when the next season opens. The reasonable read is to get to Gold earlier than later.

Smaller Additions Worth Knowing

Alchemax Headquarters in 18 VS 18

The Alchemax Headquarters map has been added to the 18 VS 18 mode. The Dev Vision recap on MarvelRivals.gg describes it as an expansion of the large-scale Annihilation mode. If the 6v6 queues feel too tight for the new balance changes, this is the mode to sit in while you learn a hero.

Water traversal emotes

All Summer Special series water traversal emotes can now be used in other stages and zones. Outside of water they act as stationary, non-moving emotes. NetEase adds one caveat: because of severe clipping issues, certain emotes may stay restricted to specific areas or stages.

New stories

Two new lore entries arrive: Thor - Spirit of Thunder and Spider-Man - The Worthy Spider-Man. The patch notes only give the titles, so there is nothing more to say until you read them in the client.

Hero fixes outside the balance post

  • Winter Soldier, Cybernetic Calibration: the action response of Bucky's Trooper's Fist and Bionic Hook was optimized for high-latency network conditions. If you play Winter Soldier on a shaky connection, this is aimed at you.
  • Gorr, Shadow Precision: a Custom Targeting Sensitivity setting was added for Gorr's Shadow Harvest ability so you can tune how it aims.

Hero Profile label fix

The Hero Profile UI previously labeled the detailed Emoji resource type as "Costume." That is fixed. It will not change how you play, but it explains any odd labeling you spotted earlier.

Balance Changes for October 9

NetEase's balance post lists 13 heroes. By my count that is three straight nerfs (Devil Dinosaur, Gorr, Scarlet Witch), eight heroes with buffs (Hulk, Magneto, The Thing, Cyclops, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Phoenix, Adam Warlock), and two mixed changes (Gambit and Jubilee, who each get buffs and cuts). Eleven different Team-Up pairings are touched. The role groupings below follow MP1st's layout of the official post. The numbers come from NetEase's balance post.

Vanguards

HeroChange (official numbers)Direction
Devil DinosaurBase health 850 to 825Nerf
HulkBanner form: Gamma Ray Gun projectile speed 80 to 120 m/s; gamma energy when Gamma Grenade hits self 50 to 100. Wolverine Team-Up: attack speed and movement speed boost entering Furious 20% to 25%; Unstoppable health threshold 300 to 400; Unstoppable cooldown 60s to 45sBuff
MagnetoEmma Frost Team-Up: Magnetic Resonance projection damage 45% to 50%; projection max duration 5s to 6sBuff
The ThingInvisible Woman Team-Up: Unbreakable Forces cooldown 20s to 15s; Enhanced Effect healing damage threshold 150 to 125Buff

Devil Dinosaur takes a small trim. Going from 850 to 825 base health is 25 health, a hair under three percent. NetEase calls it "shedding a tiny bit of bulk to keep things fair and balanced." This is a nudge that rewards focus fire, not a redesign.

Hulk is the biggest Vanguard winner. In Banner form the Gamma Ray Gun projectile goes from 80 to 120 m/s, which is a 50% speed increase, and gamma energy from a self-hit Gamma Grenade doubles from 50 to 100. With the Wolverine Team-Up, Furious state boosts rise from 20% to 25% for both attack speed and movement speed, the Unstoppable trigger threshold rises from 300 to 400, and Unstoppable cooldown drops from 60 seconds to 45 seconds. That cooldown cut is a quarter off.

Magneto only changes with the Emma Frost Team-Up. The magnetic projection from Magnetic Resonance deals 50% instead of 45%, and it can last 6 seconds instead of 5.

The Thing only changes with the Invisible Woman Team-Up. Unbreakable Forces cooldown falls from 20 to 15 seconds, a 25% cut, and the Enhanced Effect needs 125 damage instead of 150 to trigger its healing.

Duelists

HeroChange (official numbers)Direction
CyclopsOptic Blast single hit 22 to 23; Ricochet Force cooldown reduction per Optic Blast hit 0.25s to 0.3s; Ruby Rage (ult) energy cost 3700 to 3400; Gambit Team-Up: Kinetic Kin duration 6s to 8sBuff
Gorr the God ButcherShadow Scythe damage 55 +2% max health to 50 +2% max health; Shockwave damage 60 to 55; Twilight of the Gods (ult) duration 12s to 10s; Living Abyss cooldown 15s to 12s and movement speed during it 13 to 10 m/sNerf
HawkeyePiercing Arrow projectile speed 130-195 to 140-210 m/s; slightly shorter Crescent Slash recovery; Hypersonic Arrow initial hit field width 3m to 5m; Psylocke Team-Up: Psionic Arrow single shot 32 to 33; Cloak & Dagger Team-Up: Moonlit Slash now self-heals for the healing dealtBuff
Iron ManMicro-Missile Barrage now auto-tracks nearby enemies: damage 20 to 10 per missile, max 5 locks on one target, speed 15 to 60 m/s. During Armor Overdrive, barrage missiles auto-track enemies in front: damage 15 to 10, max 5 locks. Thor Team-Up: Unibeam outer ring 70/s to 80/s; Thunder Overdrive Unibeam outer ring 85/s to 90/sBuff (mechanic change)
PhoenixCosmic Flames single shot 60 to 65; Sparks detonation direct 40 to 45 and explosion 15 to 20; Sparks self-heal removed, replaced by 5 Bonus Health for 4s, capped at 25; Endsong Inferno (ult) now applies 2 Sparks instead of 1; Hela Team-Up ability cooldown 12s to 10sBuff
Scarlet WitchChthonian Burst single shot spell field damage 40 to 35Nerf

Cyclops gets a quiet but real buff package. Optic Blast hits for 23 instead of 22, each hit shaves 0.3 seconds instead of 0.25 off Ricochet Force's cooldown, and Ruby Rage needs 3400 energy instead of 3700. That is 300 less, roughly an 8% discount on the ultimate. With the Gambit Team-Up, Kinetic Kin lasts 8 seconds instead of 6.

Gorr the God Butcher takes the heaviest Duelist nerf. Shadow Scythe goes from 55 plus 2% of the target's max health to 50 plus 2%, Shockwave drops from 60 to 55, Twilight of the Gods lasts 10 seconds instead of 12, and Living Abyss comes back sooner (12 seconds instead of 15) but you move slower while it is active (10 m/s instead of 13). The official flavor text says NetEase is "reeling in the reach of his absolute annihilation just a hair." The Living Abyss change is a trade: more uptime on cooldown, less mobility during it.

Hawkeye gets small, accuracy-flavored buffs. Piercing Arrow flies at 140 to 210 m/s instead of 130 to 195. Crescent Slash recovers slightly faster (NetEase gives no number). Hypersonic Arrow's initial damage hit is 5 meters wide instead of 3. Two Team-Ups are touched: with Psylocke, Psionic Arrow does 33 instead of 32, and with Cloak & Dagger, casting Moonlit Slash now also heals Hawkeye for an amount equal to the healing it deals.

Iron Man gets the headline change. Micro-Missile Barrage now automatically tracks nearby enemies on release. In exchange, each missile's damage is cut from 20 to 10, the max locked-on count on a single target is 5, and projectile speed goes up from 15 to 60 m/s. During Armor Overdrive, missiles from the barrage track enemies in front of you, damage per missile drops from 15 to 10, and the same cap of 5 locks on a single target applies. NetEase does not give a changed projectile speed for the Overdrive version, so I will not guess one. With the Thor Team-Up, Unibeam's outer ring rises from 70 to 80 damage per second, and the Thunder Overdrive enhanced outer ring rises from 85 to 90 per second.

Phoenix trades healing for aggression. Cosmic Flames hits for 65 instead of 60, Sparks detonation does 45 direct damage instead of 40 and 20 explosion damage instead of 15. The old self-heal on Spark detonation is gone. In its place, detonating Sparks grants 5 Bonus Health for 4 seconds, capped at 25. Endsong Inferno's explosion and shockwave now apply 2 Sparks instead of 1, and the Hela Team-Up ability cooldown drops from 12 to 10 seconds.

Scarlet Witch gets the only other Duelist cut: Chthonian Burst single shot spell field damage goes from 40 to 35, a 12.5% reduction. NetEase describes it as dialing back "her chaos magic just a fraction to keep her AoE zoning in check."

Strategists

HeroChange (official numbers)Direction
Adam WarlockUltron Team-Up: single Cosmic Cluster healing 16 to 18; Enhanced Effect explosion healing 5 to 7Buff
GambitHealing Hearts and Breaking Spades charge time per stack 8s to 7s; Ragin' Royal Flush target search range 40m to 30m and extra Jump Boost 500 to 300; Jubilee Team-Up: Sparkling Staff duration 1.5s to 2sMixed
JubileeNew: 25/s healing to self during Sparking Sprint; Dazzling Detonation blind 1.5s to 0.8s; Blade Team-Up: new 15/s healing to nearby allies for 6s during Vampiric Kin; Firework Finale (ult) healing 150/s to 180/sMixed

Adam Warlock only changes with the Ultron Team-Up. A single Cosmic Cluster heals 18 instead of 16, and the Enhanced Effect explosion healing is 7 instead of 5.

Gambit gets a mixed package. Healing Hearts and Breaking Spades charge in 7 seconds per stack instead of 8, which is 12.5% faster. Ragin' Royal Flush is trimmed: target search range falls from 40 to 30 meters, and the extra Jump Boost granted to Gambit and allies falls from 500 to 300. With the Jubilee Team-Up, Sparkling Staff lasts 2 seconds instead of 1.5.

Jubilee is the other mixed change, but it leans toward buff. Sparking Sprint now provides 25 per second of healing to herself. Dazzling Detonation's blind shrinks from 1.5 to 0.8 seconds, which is about 47% shorter and is the one real nerf in the package. With the Blade Team-Up there is a brand-new effect: during Vampiric Kin she continuously heals surrounding allies for 15 per second over 6 seconds. And Firework Finale's spell field healing rises from 150 to 180 per second, a 20% increase.

What the Numbers Suggest

None of this is official analysis. It is my read of the official numbers, so weigh it accordingly.

  • Iron Man is the one to test first. Homing changes the way a barrage is aimed, not just how hard it hits. Cutting damage per missile in half while multiplying speed by four tells you NetEase wants the missiles to land more reliably, not hurt more.
  • Phoenix looks more committed. More damage on Cosmic Flames and Sparks, more Sparks from the ultimate, and a small Bonus Health shield instead of healing. The cap of 25 is small, so this is not a durability rework. It is a push to play aggressively on a fresh Spark detonation.
  • Gorr is the hero to watch for tuning. He picked up a new aiming sensitivity setting and a nerf pass in the same update, which fits a hero who is still being tuned after his season debut.
  • Hulk with Wolverine is the quiet winner. A faster Furious state, a higher Unstoppable threshold, and a shorter Unstoppable cooldown all pull in the same direction.
  • Jubilee's blind cut is real. If your team leaned on a long blind for a fight window, 0.8 seconds is a different tool than 1.5.
  • Team-Ups carry a lot of this patch. Eleven pairings are touched, and those changes only apply when both heroes are running that specific Team-Up, so expect pairings to shift before the solo kit numbers do.

The Road to Season 11

MP1st ends its write-up by saying the Season 11 news should arrive soon and that it should be the last major season of 2026. The dates below come from the Dev Vision recap on MarvelRivals.gg and from LFCarry's Season 11 explainer, not from the official patch notes. Check in-game announcements before you plan around any of them.

  • October 15 (after that day's update): the All Hallow's Glow Halloween event begins, per the Dev Vision recap.
  • October 22: the next Path to Doomsday experience, Avengers: Endgame, a large-scale PvE mode where 50 players fight Thanos and his army in the ruins of the Avengers Compound, per the recap.
  • October 29: the Night of Illusions Halloween event begins, per the recap.
  • November 13: Season 11 starts, per LFCarry. NetEase promised two new heroes for Season 11 in an earlier Dev Vision, and LFCarry notes they are unnamed. Leaks name candidates, but nothing is confirmed.
  • November 23 to 29: the Ignite Grand Finals, with 12 teams from four regions, per the recap.
Notice what is missing: a new hero in Season 10.5. The Dev Vision recap says the update focuses on Phases 3 and 4 of the Path to Doomsday event instead.

Your Season 10.5 Checklist

If you only have a spare hour this weekend, here is how I would spend it.

  • Update first. Console players should see the update as 1.76 | 1.000.011, which MP1st describes as another hefty install.
  • Hit Times Square. Watch the screening for two minutes and take the photo with the NPCs for the Gallery Card, the Spray, and 100 Units. Both vanish on October 22.
  • Start the Infinity Finale quests. Thor's free costume is the clearest reward, and the event ends a day before the mode.
  • Queue Infinity War with a partner. Mission objectives unlock the Infinity Gauntlet accessory and extras like Unstable Molecules and Units.
  • Link Twitch for Angela. The drops window opens at 7:00 AM Central today and closes November 6 at 3:00 AM Central.
  • Test Iron Man and Phoenix in a low-pressure mode. The 18 VS 18 queue with Alchemax Headquarters is a good place to get a feel.
  • Aim for Gold in ranked if you want the Jeff the Land Shark costume before the season turns.
  • Check Gorr's new sensitivity setting if you play him.

Frequently Asked Questions

When did Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 start?

Season 10.5 started on October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC, which is 4:00 AM Central. NetEase estimated about two hours of maintenance, so most players could expect to get in around 6:00 AM Central.

Is there a new hero in Season 10.5?

No. The Season 10.5 patch notes do not add a hero. The update adds the Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War mode, the Infinity Finale event, new store bundles, and a balance pass. Season 11 is when NetEase has said new heroes are coming.

How does the Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War mode work?

Twelve players form six duo squads. Each round, two squads face off, and the first squad to collect all six Infinity Stones wins. The Dev Vision recap adds that teams lose health when they lose a round, pick upgrade cards between rounds, start with a random stone, and claim a stone by eliminating the team that holds it.

When does the Infinity War mode end?

It ends on December 11, 2026 at 09:00 UTC. In Central Time that is Friday, December 11 at 3:00 AM CST.

How do I get the Infinity Gauntlet accessory?

Per NetEase's note quoted by MP1st, the Infinity Gauntlet is not sold in the store. You earn it for free by completing mission objectives in the Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War event, and you can pick up rewards like Unstable Molecules and Units along the way.

How do I get the free Thor costume?

Complete the quests in the Infinity Finale season event. The reward is Thor's The Avengers costume, free. The event runs from October 9 at 09:00 UTC until December 10 at 09:00 UTC, which is Thursday, December 10 at 3:00 AM Central.

What are the Season 10.5 Twitch Drops?

The drops round includes the Angela - Will of Galacta costume and related bundle content. The window opens October 9 at 12:00 UTC (7:00 AM Central) and closes November 6 at 09:00 UTC (3:00 AM Central).

Which heroes got nerfed in Season 10.5?

Devil Dinosaur (base health 850 to 825), Gorr the God Butcher (Shadow Scythe, Shockwave, ultimate duration, and Living Abyss changes), and Scarlet Witch (Chthonian Burst damage 40 to 35). Gambit and Jubilee also received a few cuts alongside their buffs.

What exactly changed for Iron Man?

Micro-Missile Barrage now automatically tracks nearby enemies. Damage per missile drops from 20 to 10, projectile speed rises from 15 to 60 m/s, and at most 5 locks can land on one target. During Armor Overdrive, barrage missiles track enemies in front of you, damage falls from 15 to 10, and the same 5-lock cap applies. The Thor Team-Up also raises Unibeam outer ring damage.

What is the console download for Season 10.5?

MP1st reports that console players will see Season 10.5 as download 1.76 | 1.000.011 and describes it as a hefty install. Sizes are not given in the official patch notes.

What is coming before Season 11?

Per secondary reporting, the All Hallow's Glow Halloween event starts after the October 15 update, Avengers: Endgame arrives around October 22 as a 50-player PvE mode, the Night of Illusions event starts October 29, and Season 11 is dated for November 13. Confirm these in the game client because they are not in the Season 10.5 patch notes.

Final Take

Season 10.5 is a content-first mid-season. The Infinity War mode is the reason to log in, the free Thor costume and Infinity Gauntlet are the reasons to keep logging in, and the balance post is the reason to rethink a hero or two before you queue ranked. The cleanest plan is simple: grab the short-lived Times Square rewards, start the Infinity Finale quests, test Iron Man and Phoenix somewhere low-stakes, and treat the November deadlines as the real clock. With Endgame, Halloween events, and Season 11 all lined up behind this update, the next five weeks look busy.
